KOHA Magazine

ISSUE 6 | Ingidenous Business Magazine

What is Koha Magazine?

KOHA Magazine is a quarterly indigenous business magazine that focuses on the issues and concerns of indigenous peoples worldwide. KOHA is set up as a forum where the world’s indigenous leaders can come together for cross collaborations to discuss business and explore a global approach to indigenous development.

It is an independently published magazine funded by Maori and Pacific businesses, organisations and tribal authorities. Our focus is to foster Native Trade, a philosophy and business practice that values a green economy and intergenerational focused enterprises.

KOHA Issue 6

The latest issue of KOHA Magazine was released to coincide with the Maori and Pacific new year known as Matariki. With the constellation now rising over our horizon, the focus is to celebrate our new partners who have joined KOHA for another year of action packed adventures sure to entertain our growing readership.

In our Cover Story we talk with Hosea Gear, the NZ Maori Rugby Team’s star player who shares his formula for success as a world-class athlete. Our global feature provides an intriguing insight into Cook Islands PM, Jim Marurai’s plans for economic and political reform. Other exciting articles include an exclusive interview with members of Hawaiian-based company, Innovations Development Group, who have secured a land-mark Native Trade geothermal deal for a small Maori land trust based in Kawerau.
