Tekau Plus:
Is a joint initiative between three organisations: the Māori Trustee, Poutama Trust, and the Federation of Māori Authorities. FOMANA Capital is the project manager/strategist.
Game-Plan:
To assist Māori to create 10 high value businesses /brands, each strategically positioned in niche markets and earning in excess of ten million in foreign revenue within ten years and together building a Maori Export Club worth over $100 million.
Central Channel:
Provides a central channel with three functions:

Māori businesses to organise business and implement Export Excellence and investment strategies;

Strategic Intent: Export Excellence:
Value through exporting and foreign direct investment (“FDI”).
Business Platform:
To earn foreign revenue for New Zealand through collaboration between Māori, commerce, research, science and technology (RS&T), industry leaders and exporters.
Approach: Market Design:
Based on the needs of the global customer. Using RS&T to undertake value-add elements and adopting internationally recognised commercial systems to capitalise markets.
