10+ Value Added Agri-Primary
10+ is a programme to lay the foundation, systems and networks to catalyse and focus Maori businesses to create value in the agri-primary sector. Its aims are twofold:
| 1. | to fill a gap in the market by providing a strategic platform to spring board Maori into high value niche markets with the goal of creating in 10 years, 10 high value businesses and brands each earning in excess of $10m in foreign earnings. |
| 2. | to co-ordinate the Maori export & trade, research, science and technology advancement with key stakeholders, including NZTE, MFAT, Export NZ & Networks, CRIs, and key commercial and research sector entities. |
10+ Value Propositions
There are five initial programmes on offer to Maori exporters or potential export clusters.
| 1. | Assist 10+ Members to build an internationally recognised 10-year export plan. |
| 2. | Assist 10+ Members to innovate and capitalise on research, science and technology. |
| 3. | Assist 10+ Members to build nationally and internationally recognised channels for networking and fostering business. |
| 4. | Assist Members by providing specific Advisory Services, these will include market and export specialists. |
| 5. | Assist Members by providing 8-12 workshops capacity and knowledge programmes as well as an annual Maori Value Added Export & Entrepreneurial Symposiums.
